Miley “loves” British band JLS

British boy band JLS were delighted when Miley Cyrus admitted to being a fan of their music.
JLS were thrilled to discover Miley Cyrus is a fan of their music.
The London-born group – comprising Jonathan ‘JB’ Gill, Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes and Oritse Williams – were thrilled when the ‘Hannah Montana’ star approached them at the recent Much Music Video Awards (MMVA) in Canada to voice her appreciation.
JB explained to MTV.co.uk: “We saw her backstage at the MMVAs where we presented an award. She was coming off stage just as we were going on. She came to us and said ‘Yeah I listen to your music whenever I’m on the road in England.’ So we were like, ‘Cool man…’ ”
The ‘Beat Again’ hitmakers admit they are inspired by the 17-year-old US star’s strong work ethic.
And the boys revealed that Miley is an inspiration to them.
Oritse said: “She’s a very hard worker and we met her to see that this girl has literally put everything into what she does and that’s something for every artist and creative person to defiantly be inspired by.”
Oritse also spoke about critics of Miley’s raunchy image, insisting she only receives negative comments because people love to find things wrong with people who are successful.
He added: “We know how people criticise you and find any kind of gaps or holes in what you’re doing when your achieving great things, and there’s no doubt about it she’s a great act and talented.”
Dolly Parton Defends Miley

Country music legend Dolly Parton thinks Miley Cyrus has staying power and wishes people would ease up on their criticism while she “finds her way,” the buxom mega-star said Wednesday in an interview with Fox News Channel.
“I’ve known her since she was a baby,” Parton said. “I hate it when people criticize her.”
Cyrus, the daughter of “Achy Breaky Heart” singer Billy Ray Cyrus, is Parton’s “honorary goddaughter.”
“I mean, we never had a ceremony or nothing,” Parton, 64, laughed before praising Cyrus’ talent. “She is a great singer; she has a great voice. She’s a great little entertainer and she can speak to you like she is 50 years old.”
Cyrus, 17, has been widely criticized for her risque outfits and adult shenanigans. Earlier in the month, video of the teen sensation performing an impromptu lap dance on a much older colleague went viral.
But country music’s reigning queen thinks Cyrus is just a teenager struggling to grow up in the international spotlight who has a very bright future ahead of her.
“She’ll land in the right place. I really know she has everything it takes. She is just trying to find her way and she will.”
Nick Jonas is a waver!
The 17-year-old actor/musician says hello to both paps and fans as he steps outside the ITN Studios in London on Wednesday morning (June 30). Late last night, Nick was also seen stepping into a crowd of fans after his performance in Les Miserables at the Queens Theatre.
Nick chatted with GMTV about his theatre work, saying, “I am having an excellent time, it’s definitely different to what I do with my brothers, the singing is a different style. It is tiring, especially when we have two shows a day, but it is all good fun.”
